I confess: I read MacLean’s mag. And today I’m glad I did. Look at this; look at this!!

Surprising Saskatoon

Actually, I’m not surprised. Our little city has long been one of the best users of libraries, and our province is one of the greatest producers of “artsy” people in Canada–it’s just that we’ve been exporting about as fast as we produce. That last is ending now and our prodigals are gradually coming back. Welcome back!!

Lila–thanks for coming to my blog and becoming my friend. There are many teachings that you might find ring true with your heart for God and righteousness. In particular, seek out the teachings God has given me from His Word on the poor, the disenfranchised, the stranger, the alien, the lonely, the brokenhearted, the lame, the blind, the forgotten. We must love above all, and that love, which is an extension of God’s being, lived in us through Christ, encompasses all. There is no east or west, no north or south, no Jew or Greek, right? Those who truly come to Christ, and not to religion, will understand this at the deepest level, having acknowledged our own poverty, our own lameness, our own sins and sicknesses. Thank you again for reading my blog…
